Love like the ocean
I get a bottle
And go to the ocean
Write down my heart
And seal up my devotion
I toss it into
The violent bay
Knowing that it will
Come back someday
My body is the bottle
And my love is sealed tight
Each hour makes us less apart
And a new day comes every midnight
The bay is world around us
People telling us we shouldn’t wait
You parents may be able to forbid us for now

Therefore my bottle is indestructible
And can’t be tampered by any other man
The power of love is indescribable
So it can only be opened by my hand
