Don’t judge a book by its cover
There comes a time in your life
When you hit a fork in the road
You have a decision to make
To go one way or the other
You have to choose without being told
Told which way is the right way
And which one is the dead end
This decision affects your future
Chance is your only depend
One false move and its checkmate
Game over, finished, you’re done
Your life will dissolve so quickly
Like you’re running head first into the sun
So you analyze both directions
One path dark woods the other clear
But you still are indecisive
You look like headlights in front of a deer
The clear path looks too simple
It’s obvious which one you should take
But yet you choose to embark through the woods
Without a doubt you are certain
That was the right move to make
Little did you know that you were correct
And that the clear path was in fact a trap
That was the way to emptiness
You would be lost and without a map
The way you chose is hard
There are many obstacles that you have to face
Your predestined path was almost certain
But you decided that that wouldn’t be the case
This path is the path to salvation
In the end its worth the any suffer
So before you choose which path to take
Remember; don’t judge a book by its cover!
